Arts and Crafts
When you think of the West and Southwest, you likely picture artwork. These parts of the country are known for their rich cultural history that has resulted in some of the most beautiful artwork in the U.S. The Colorado Indian Market and Southwest Art Fest was started to honor the Native American heritage and influence on arts and crafts created by artists of the culture as well as artists who love the culture. When you walk around the festival, you’ll see colorful booths for painters, sculptors, jewelry makers, clothing makers, and many more artists and craftsmen.
Entertainment and Attractions
Along with arts and crafts, the Colorado Indian Market and Southwest Art Fest also has music, dancing, and many other forms of entertainment! On Friday, January 18th, you can watch the Ehecatl Aztec Dancers and the Bearsheart Hoop Dancers and listen to music from artists like Kelly Derrickson, Shelley Morningsong & Fabian Fontenelle, and Terry Tsotigh. There will be even more music and dancing on Saturday and Sunday, so be sure to bring your dancing shoes and get a good view of the stage!
